This Privacy Policy explains how STARPHONE LLC ("STARPHONE", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our websites, apps, and communication services (the "Services").

To operate the Services, we process metadata related to calls and messages, such as:

  • STARPHONE Numbers used;
  • sending and receiving phone numbers;
  • timestamps, duration, routing information, and delivery status;
  • country and carrier information.

1.5 Message and Call Content

  • Text messages (SMS/MMS) and voice calls you send or receive using STARPHONE may be temporarily processed and stored for the purposes of delivering the communication, spam and fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and where necessary for legal or compliance reasons.
  • We do not use the content of your communications for advertising.

1.6 Support & Correspondence

  • Information you provide when you contact support, respond to surveys, or participate in beta programs.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account;
  • To assign and operate STARPHONE Numbers;
  • To deliver calls and messages;
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests;
  • To detect fraud, spam, and abuse;
  • To comply with legal obligations, telecom regulations, carrier requirements, and law-enforcement requests;
  • To maintain and improve the Services, including analytics and service quality;
  • To send essential service notifications, such as changes to terms, security alerts, or billing notices;
  • With your consent, to send optional product updates or promotional communications (you may opt out at any time).

We do not use SMS for marketing or promotional campaigns.

3. Legal Bases (where applicable)

Where required by law (for example, if you are in the EEA or UK), we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract (providing the Services to you);
  • Compliance with legal obligations;
  • Legitimate interests (such as securing our Services, preventing abuse, and improving user experience);

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

  • Call and message metadata is retained for a period consistent with our operational and legal obligations.
  • Message content and call recordings (if offered and enabled by you) are retained for a limited time and then deleted or anonymized, unless we are required to preserve them for legal reasons or abuse investigations.

We may use cookies and similar technologies on our websites to:

  • keep you signed in;
  • remember your preferences;
  • perform analytics to improve the Services.

7.1 Account updates via app or support

You can update certain account information in the app or by contacting support.

7.2 Email marketing opt-out

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the "unsubscribe" link in the email or contacting us. You will still receive important service-related messages.

7.3 SMS opt-out via STOP

Contacts can opt out from receiving SMS from a STARPHONE Number by replying "STOP" or another supported keyword. We honor these opt-out requests as required by law and carrier rules.

7.4 Data rights requests via privacy@starphone24.com

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can make such requests by contacting us at privacy@starphone24.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
